living with these parents of mine
living with these parents of mine is a lot like what i imagine living with a commited partner is like- one moment i'm almost overwhelmed with feelings of love and gratitude, and the next moment some little quirk that one of them has is making me exploding-angry.
the love and gratitude part:
me: (in the parking lot raging against myself) "I can't do anything! i'm bad at everything! i do everything badly!"
my mom: (looks at me) "Well, I think you do everything cutely."
so i have amazing parents, they have always been sweet and nurturing and respectful with me.
how is everyone's relationship with their parents/families?
