I'm still standing...

So....

It's been a while.

And since the end of September, things have been crazy. My grandfather became really sick and everyone thought he was going to die. But he didn't, but it's not like he's better. He's really on his death bed, but he's stubborn, so it'll take a while. Which isn't a good thing because he doesn't look like he's really there. You know what I mean? But if that wasn't a bad thing, my mom, sister, and I couldn't afford to go because her money hadn't come yet (back money owed to her from my dad's retirement check she should be getting on a monthly basis) and my sister and I had more than our fair share of bills. So we borrowed money from my dad and my uncles paid for the hotel when we got there. And my dad watched my cat. So when we got back, he commented on the place we were living (since we had to move into a two bedroom apartment because we lost the house) and told my sister she should live with him. Of course she didn't want to, so I did.

And it was also during that time my dad decided to help me get out of debt. Which was nice because we couldn't afford to pay bills some bills because we wanted to make sure we had a place to live. (And that meant no internet or phone...among other things...) He even got me an interview for a higher paying job. Which I got. YEA! At first I was okay with it. But then I started to have panic attacks every morning. But I got transferred from the place I first went to, to a place 30 minutes away (by interstate). So my job is working as an instructor for special needs adults and at this new place most of them are in wheelchairs. And, no, I'm not a real teacher. They can get away with it because it's not a school but a non profit corporation. I stopped having panic attacks but soon realized this wasn't were I wanted to be in five years, so I decided I'm going to try to get into school in the fall of 2010 to be a special ed teacher.

But anywho... Then my mom passed out again in the kitchen and had to go to the hospital. She was there for a week but they couldn't find anything wrong and just told her to adjust the amount of solution she uses for her dialysis. She's been okay since. And has started to eat many little meals instead of just three bigger ones. It helps.

And then Christmas came. It was great. Also my birthday was too. My mom, since her money came in, bought me the iMac I always wanted. And it's lovely no matter what people say. It was my birthday/Christmas gift which I was very happy with. So I ended up buying my Christmas presents myself thanks to my bigger paycheck. Except for the very generous gift card from my sister.

So, the year wasn't a great one, but it ended on a pretty good note. And now I'm ready to get back to the world of the internet on a full time basis. And I'm excited about what this year will bring. Hopefully good things. Please? :D?
