Today was a good day for running

I ran for the furthest ever today! 10 miles. I wasn't very enthusiastic to start with - I'd been a bit under the weather for a week and hadn't managed to run last weekend's 9 miles. I told myself all I had to run was 1 mile, then maybe some more... and after 3 miles I'd have a sweetie every mile. I concentrated on running slowly (the speed of an awesome person) so I could run for longer. When I got over 8 miles I realised I could go for longer than 9, so I continued running until I got home. Sprint finish!

I made myself a home-made sports drink before and after, and a smoothie with: strawberries, avocado, banana, golden syrup, milk. Have been shattered ever since.

Training week 5. Marathon on 2nd October.
