Argh, stressed. I went to the Housing Benefit office and made a statement along the lines that they should pay me dual Housing Benefit for a few weeks because I had to a) give 4 weeks notice to St Mungo's and b) move into my Community Housing Association flat immediately or someone else would have got it; also, it took me a few weeks to move all of my stuff out cos I had to wait for St Mungo's to help organise my move. I hope they pay it. I'd already completed a form asking them to do it, but maybe it didn't go into enough detail, or maybe me handing my keys in at the last minute (and St Mungo's telling the H.B. office this) counted against me.
I didn't play my mental health card, it didn't seem to be necessary; but if it is, then I will. I started to go batsh1t when moving, I really needed the support of my last couple of weeks in Supported Accommodation.
Hopefully that's sorted. We shall see.
I also phoned up Resettlement at St Mungo's to get myself referred to ReStore furniture project. The woman on the phone had pretty poor English comprehension/speaking skills, the lack of smoothness with that got me more wound up. Also, it's going to take them a while to get back to me, and I want my referral now, dammit! I have a Community Care Grant and Budgeting Loan burning a hole in my savings accounts.
