I love Ken Livingstone. I really really do. I thanked him for the buses personally. Ken - I love you! Heathrow are trying to ban a whole load of law-abiding respectable citizens (not that I'm saying that they're good, just that they're not radical activists) from not just Heathrow Airport, but also the Piccadilly line and parts of the road network. Some of the groups whose members Heathrow seek to ban are the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds and the Campaign to Protect Rural England. Bunch of loony radicals the lot of 'em ;-) I like the idea of the protest itself though, but I'll be at BiCon. It's crazy what we're doing to the earth.

Yeah, I know this is a bit of old news, but Ken has spoken! It was divine to wake up in the morning to the sound of his nasal tones on the Today Programme.

Today I have an appointment with my resettlement worker. We'll be filling in Housing Benefit forms, then I shall hand them in at the town hall. So that's a bit of stress and running around, but I'll have nice fuzzy thoughts of ___ to get me through it.

Whining: I woke up coughing really badly at 5.45 this morning. I got back to sleep again, but when I awoke for the second time the same thing happened again. I am getting better though, honest!

The icon is of my local tube station, Mornington Crescent, which is also a game on I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue. I'll miss living near it I think... but it will be only a 15 minute walk away from my new place.
