I was on the train today, travelling from Nottingham to London, and I realised that I was:

a) wearing a Wychwood (small real ale company) t-shirt
b) reading The Fellowship of the Ring
c) wearing socks and sandals

Oh.

What geeky stereotype are you?

I'm really enjoying the book, I haven't read it since I was a teenager. I've avoided non-Pratchett fantasy because I told myself that it was too sad to read fantasy that isn't really funny. I no longer tell myself this. Hm, and there's also the Half Man Half Biscuit line that must have put me off for a while: "Mention the Lord of the Rings one more time and I'll more than likely kill you." I take things far, far too literally.

Tomorrow I shall have a go at sorting out my BT home hub. I installed it on Friday and it worked for a while, but then my connection crashed. I was due to get the train to Nottingham a few hours later, so I just put my old router back in. It is likely that I'll ask one of you to help me out. I'll be calling BT first though.
