bra_exchange: Anyone want this? 40DD underwired white M&S bra. 'Aurelia lace.' Never worn. I can post it within the UK...
I have decided to go 'vegan at home'. I would rather be fully vegan for ethical reasons but I've never been able to do it without binging on dairy in secret (with added denial). So my plan is to eat vegan food when I'm on my own or with Phoebe, but when I'm socialising I will either eat a vegan or non-vegan meal. Being omnivorous for at least some of the time will be both convenient and also will prevent secret binges on the food I'm most likely to binge on. I will eat omnivorously at home when I am in the company of an omnivore/lacto-ovo vegetarian, but 'vegan at home' is snappy.
My reasons:
- I don't want to binge
- I want to eat more healthily, and I really like fatty meat... I don't want to eat that too much
- I really need to lose weight... I know there are fat vegans but I believe it will help me to control my eating better
- It may lead to me becoming vegan again
- It's better for the planet (considering the current population) for more people to eat less meat
- Being a lacto-ovo vegetarian supports the killing of millions of male animals plus the female ones when they can't produce milk/eggs anymore and I don't want to be a hypocrite
- Not having to insist on a vegan diet all of the time is a lot easier on my social life
Exercise: yesterday I walked for around 2 1/2 hours in total. Today I did some stair climbing and have been doing light housework; I may go for a walk/exercise class later, depends on how I feel.
