I had quite a good day today. I went out on my own to buy foibey some presents. I got her a copy of A People's History of the United States by Howard Zinn and some products from Lush. I also bought a DVD of Stand By Me, which we watched together whilst eating curry. Yum. I like treating my wife. She's just so precious to me. foibey liked the Zinn book best. I saw her getting into it the last time we went book shopping in Charing Cross Road a few months ago and remembered how much she salivated over it.
I did a lot more walking than I've been doing over the last few months; I'm really unfit and would like to start exercising a bit more again. Possibly go to the Ladies Pond a few times before it gets too chilly; I should be able to swim in it for the whole of September, temperature-wise.
Other plans: we're not going to go to Manchester BiFest later on in the month. We need to save some money for when we (eventually) get a council flat, and we don't have to go to every bi-related event.
