killer week
So...
The retail job is going well. She was very impressed that on the third day she felt completely ok with me being in the store by myself. I mean, it's retail. I have done it before. The stuff in there is so expensive. This woman bought $1200 worth of clothes yesterday. I wrote it up but I didn't even want to tell her the total. I would almost kill for that much money right now. I have $18 to my name after I pay rent until May 5 when I get paid. It's very scary and sad. I can't believe there are people out there that can just drop that much on clothes. Even if I could afford it... go to a thrift store! Go to the mall! Get one thing at the nice store and other stuff elsewhere. I mean most of the clothes are hand made by the owner...so they run like $100 for a pair of pants. Wish there was commission.
Meanwhile... across the street... there is a new furniture store opening. It's new and hip (kind of pier one-ish). I interviewed for a job there, he's still making the decision. I want it so bad. But in the meantime this week is all about unloading furniture off of trucks and helping unpack stuff. So, I have been doing that before and after the other job. Yay for more money. Yay for working 9 hours a day. That paycheck from both places on May 5 will be sweeeeet! I may end up with enough money to go to the wedding. Maybe not enough for rent after I take that week off. But I am hoping to babysit a bit while I am home.
Boyfriend will be here tonight and staying for ten whole days!! We are both going to be working on tech week this week for my next show! hurray! And it looks like I will only be working 11-3 while he is here. :)
