no news is good news

I can't really explain the title. I think maybe it's an excuse for not writing in awhile; however, in my defense I was on vacation for the past 6 days.

I just got back from Paris yesterday, the city was gorgeous, my first time ever in Europe. I'm in love.

Tomorrow I had back to good ole Big Dick...haha, I'm très excited as I'm moving into the International house and am already getting along with my new roommate. I'm not really ready for classes to start, but I'm happy to go back. I haven't seen most of the sisters in 5 weeks, so it'll be nice.

While I enjoyed every second of Paris, the timing was hard. I haven't seen Brian in 3 weeks, and over the trip I only got to speak to him about 5 minutes every day (what with $1 a minute roaming charges). I miss him terribly and cannot wait until Sunday when he comes to visit me. If the weather is still like this I think we'll take a walk around historic Carlisle.
We've briefly discussed Valentine's Day plans, which are pretty simple, low-key and romantic. I am not one of those haters of Valentine's Day, quite the opposite actually. If you understand and appreciate the holiday for its true intent, a celebration of love, and even if you are single, and are able to recognize that this celebration of love lacks definition, than I cannot fathom dislking the holiday. Don't allow commercialization to ruin it for you.
So it looks like we'll be sharing a bottle of wine and basically being lovey-dovey. I'm excited. We're also going to go get our anniversary pictures taken that weekend. Brian and I are going to get dressed up and have professional photographs taken, and then get copies in wallet size and frame size etc. Depending on how the pictures look I think I'm definitely going to want color and black and white shots.

Sorry to write so much about one topic, but frankly it's a pretty important one.

It has suddenly occurred to me that this break is probably the last time I plan to spend an elongated period of time in King of Prussia.....If all goes as planned, Brian and I will be spending the summer in Carlisle. And then the school year starts up again. I don't think it's really sunk in quite yet.

I'm going to really miss my puppies, and waking up to kitties curled around me. I can't wait til Brian and I get our little kitten!

Let's see.....anything else?

I finally bought photo albums to hold pictures in an orderly manner until I get around to scrapbooking them. I purchased two, giving me a total of three. One is strictly Theta related, as it says "Kappa Alpha Theta" on the front. One is a general collection and the third are pictures of Brian and I, or related pictures to our relationship. We really must take more pictures together I think, I like having them to look at when I miss him (which is all the time).

Dinner is soon and then I must, MUST get back to packing, as we're leaving tomorrow early afternoon.

Thanks for listening!
