(no subject)
One of my best friend's father passed. They live in Virginia. All this week I was trying to figure out how to get there. Another wake up call that I need to SAVE money like an actual adult. This is the second time a friend has been in need and I couldn't get there right away. Something I definitely want to work on. I took the bus down here yesterday. 11 hrs on the bus will do something to you. Bleh.
Today was the service. The family was in relatively good spirits (he passed a week ago today) and was able to receive everyone well. Whenever someone close to my mother's age passes, I always think of her. I am so attached to my mom. I don't know that I could handle her passing.
Becky came up as well, so the three musketeers are all together. :o) I think we are going to stop by the family's house today, but I'm not sure.
I love being back home. Unfortunate circumstances aside, I have had such a peaceful time here. Everything is just a tad slower, everyone just a tad nicer. It was very nice to see family and friends from my old congregation. I definitely want to start a family here. 7-11 and Wawa. I have neither where I am.
