Weekend Update
Pretty good weekend. Finished purchasing things for my outfit today. Saturday was Melissa's dinner party. Trying to do all of my house things (I am never home during the week) added to the fact that I am the ultimate procrastinator, I made it there very late. From there Dan and I went to the Alicia Keys/John Legend concert. AMAZING! I love when artists mix up their live show. Sometimes it's like 'could have been home listening to the disc' kind of nights, but this was the total opposite! Alicia's set was done in a big band '30s style. Stage, band, music, everything. Loved it! After the show we went to one of my restaurants. One of my crushes (Matt) was there. Very cool. But kinda not really b/c now he thinks I am dating Dan. Damn. ha, ha! On the way to get the car Dan ran into Alicia. Which was cool. My brother is very jealous now. Off to the Wha! I seriously need a 12-step program. I am completely addicted to Cafe Wha. Jason was adorable, as always. Elan sat at our table with a friend for the last set. Again weird, but cool. I asked him if they had played This Love yet and he got up on stage and did it with J for me. Yea. Big hugs! I don't know why, but I get very amorous at the Wha. ha, ha. After the show I ran into Bryan outside. I've never talked to him before and he was SO nice. Might add him to my list. ;o) So sweet and sincere. On the way to the car a man asked to borrow a 9mm, but I don't remember the details. Interesting. Sunday was a COMPLETE bum day. Cleaned a bit, stayed in the house for most of the day. Swung by my sister's house for a bit. We are planning a flying trapeze day. Yep, a la SATC. Although neither of my sisters watched the show, so I don't know how they came up with it. Ought to be fun. She is a colorist and stylist so I always leave her house with goodies. This time perfume, lotion, and mousse. Today was my directors going away lunch. Becco is the MOST amazing Italian I've had in the city. Tonight is the work banquet. I have on a strapless, black a-line dress, black strappy stilettos with flowers. I passed up tickets to Ben Folds and Kyle Riabko, so it better be good!! ha, ha. I'm sure it will be.
