Mood should be better with the end of the semester here!
Yesterday, I only had one student show up for the final. Only one! I'd be annoyed, but I'm glad someone was there to make my getting there before 8 worth it.
I spent the morning working on syllabi and general prep work for next semester, like getting few of the first lectures done for Earth History.
I left just after 1 and then slept until 3:30. I didn't sleep well the night before and definitely needed it.
Today was much the same. Only today I had Andy looking at me like I was nuts for being in and even more so when I said I was trying to prep for the first few weeks of next semester. He said I shouldn't worry about that until I got back from break and then go into panic mode. I'm not good with panic.
Upon getting home today, I didn't immediately nap (another bad sleep last night), but eventually Molly joined me on the sofa and, let's face it, warm kitties make for good nap buddies.
I have finally started on "inking" my Christmas crinoid. I kept at it until all I had left was the pinnules and the platycerid. I'll finish that up tomorrow. I may go to Dayton tomorrow for some shopping, but I dunno. Mom and I will hit Paducah once I get home, so I may just finish up there. I'm definitely not going in tomorrow, no need. Andy will be happy.
I still haven't received my box to ship Mercury yet, and I'm kind of annoyed. If it doesn't come in tomorrow, I'll have to figure out what's up. I do think that Obsidian is really ready to take the big sleep. He's being a trooper, but he's working hard to do so.
Finally, mood has been less than ideal the past few days. Yesterday I couldn't get myself excited even to run about Paris. It's a bit better today, but could definitely be improved upon.
