Sudden onset of mood

Dec 17, 2013 21:40

Last night I had a sudden onset of bad mood. I was hoping it was due to tiredness, but I knew better. I knew it didn't feel like a tired blueness, but I wanted to be optimistic.

::sigh::

It was enough to make it difficult for me to work today. I tried. I tried so hard, but it just wasn't happening. I even tried going for a walk, but nope.

I tried to force myself to work until 4 when I packed it in and attempted a pickmeup with Frozen. I enjoyed the movie, though I still oppose the snowman. Having seen the movie, I don't understand why he was there. With very little modification (like, seriously, one scene) he could have easily been dismissed. But, again, other than the snowman, I really enjoyed it.

Upon getting home, I pulled out my big book of Hans Christian Anderson stories and read "The Snow-Queen". I'm glad they said "inspired by" because there was absolutely nothing similar between the two, other than, you know, there was a queen, snow, and a reindeer. The reindeer wasn't quite so obvious, but hey, give them that.

In shoulder news, my vertebra is getting better! With some encouragement by Chaundra yesterday, she got it perfectly aligned. I then joked that we should get some duct tape to make it stay forever, and she thought that was a brilliant idea. I didn't get duct tape, but that tape athletes use to mobilize their muscles.

Otherwise, I'm on strength exercises now. I basically have to do only three, but I'll do my pelvis exercises once a day and probably still the tennis ball one to check for soreness. Sadly, though, strength exercises hurt, but then, as with anything, it'll get easier with time.
