help!!
Okay I know pretty much all of you have done an apartment hunt before. Have you ever had to pay a fee to go through the application process? As in did you have to put down x amount of dollars (which would go to your first month's rent and security deposit) in order to get your paperwork looked at? If so..how much? I found a great place in an awesome location and they're asking me for $500 refundable deposit to apply, but that seems a little sketch to me. So I am wondering if its the normal. And is there anything else I should be looking out for?
