i'm getting a good taste of it this weekend.
my brother is failing his English class. He has all these papers to write, comparison papers, comparsion/contrast, etc and of course he has no idea what is going on. He doesn't know where his notes are, he doesn't know what the assignment is, he threw away his sylabi, and to top it off, he doesn't care.
i think that's the thing that frustrates me the most- he just doesn't care.
he does very well in every other class, but when it comes to English, he just couldn't give 2 shits about his assignments, tests, or papers.
so, here i am- trying to get him to think critically, use his ideas and thoughts about these books so he can write a decent essay. but he doesn't care.
is this a good taste of what may come if i have children one day?
