It's free and has pretty much the same functionality as Photoshop. This particular version has the buttons and such renamed so those who are familiar with Photoshop will have an easier time with it.
I had read about gimp and people weren't crazy about it. But I'll totally give it a try since I've been wanting to do image editing and all of the PhotoShop torrents I see need cracks, etc. Blah blah. Thanks so much!
