As I was telling you last night.. my cat 3 years ago got attacked by dogs. Our neighbours rang the doorbell & said that he'd been attacked by dogs (his name was Oscar) & Dad went to check him out & he wasn't moving. Dad kicked the dog then wacked hima s hard as he dcouldwith a wooden plant (OScar was in perfect health and 12) & bought Osc intot he garage.. then Dad drove at like 160kmh to the nearest open vet (25 mins away.. 10 mins that night) & the vet told him that Oscar's neck had been snapped and that he was probably dead the moment we found him. We thought he may have just been in shcok :( I defnitely know what it's like not to say goodbye. I didn't want to look at him after being attacked byt he dogs, I wanted tormemeber him how he was, I thought he'd be ok. I cried for he longest time & kept expecting him to walk inthe door or howl to go out.
I feel so bad too caue that night it was cold and he was howling at the front door to go out, and everyone was saying let him stay in it's warm in hhere' & I said he probably needed to go to the loo & he was obv unhappy & i let him out.. if I didn't let him out!!.
Maybe Oscar & Ellie will meet. Oscar liked big dogs, but not yappy ones, haha.
we had my childhood dog put down about 5 years ago which was really really hard coz i loved her to bits, and we got Ellie as a companion to her so she was kinda like the last connection left to Becky. The thing is with Becky we knew she was sick and lived with her condition for ages, with Ellie it was like we only saw sumtin was wrong Tuesday, and yesterday she was put down. And the thing that just shits me up the wall something chronic is the fact that my parents just went and got her put down without even telling me what was wrong fully, or to ask if i wanted to be there or anything...so yeah
