So to sum things up for the mainlanders who have no idea about it, shitville Launceston has less than half the population of Hobart, is about the size of my ass, and has as much excitement as watching an episode of Greys Anatomy at a Delta Goodrem concert.
And Tasmania is lucky enuff to get Jimmy Barnes let alone a big name music act like Elton John...but what's that? Elton John is coming to Tasmania? Holy cum! Awesome! That's great! Big break for Tassie!

This is absolutely Fucked! Fucking fucked! Launceston gets AFL Games, A-League Soccer Matches, Rugby World Cup Matches, Alice Cooper and MeatLoaf concert, all big things for Tasmania. And what does Hobart get? Kate fucking Cebrano, Jimmy fucking Barnes, The John fucking Butler Trio and Thirsty fucking Merc. WHAT THE FUCK GIVES??? If Elton John goes to Victoria, he plays in Melbourne, not Geelong. If he goes to NSW, he plays in Sydney, not Newcastle. This is absolutely fucked in the mother fucking head!
For the mainlanders who may be thinking i'm making a big deal out of nothing, you have no idea of the rivalry between Hobart and Launceston. We HATE each other. Our two Beers are like at war all the time. If you are from the south, you like Cascade, if you are from the north, you like Boags. If you are from the south and like Boags, you are a traitor and should move to the north and drown in the Tamar.
And no, i'm not a massive Elton John fan. But i like most of his music, and would like to see him live. But now, seems as he is performing in shitville, i can't. It seems like living in this shithole can only get worse....
