I've decided to post an entry since I haven't been able to get on here for a while and I don't want to seem rude or as if I'm neglecting anyone on here that might care to read whatever I put up.
There isn't much to tell since my life is fairly uneventful but I've started up classes again for this spring semester. I'm at Mt. SAC (Mount San Antonio College) still though when I moved to Cali with my family about 3 years ago now, I thought I'd be out of Mt. SAC within a year. Well, it's going on to the third year now. Fun, right? The fact that Cali is down the crap hole and screwed in heck is a big factor in me and my sister still being at Mt. SAC. The economy is screwed and completely out of control... which affects the school system and education a huge deal since lots of cuts are happening all thanks to our beautiful Cali economy. I can go on and on about this so I'll stop now. I don't have too much to complain about though since I do like Mt. SAC a lot and taking classes there are much cheaper than taking them at a university. So I'm just hoping to get on with my college career soon... as in, hoping things speed up and look up.
I haven't been doing much besides classes, assignments, reading for classes, housework, looking for a job, and going to parks with my sister, Elizabeth, and sometimes my youngest brother, Ben. I really enjoy going to the parks in my part of SoCal especially one called Grand Ave Park, which has a very long and good hiking trail across from it. It's a good natural way to be healthier and walk Chewie (our doggy) at the same time. Walking has become a sort of therapy since it puts me in a better mood and allows me to just think... it also seems to be making me a tiny bit fitter or healthier though I'm far from being what I'd ideally like to be. But I don't think I'd ever be happy with that aspect of me. I'm at least more comfortable in my own skin now, for the most part.
A photo of me my sister took while we were walking along the trails among the hills across from Grand Ave Park..
My family has been in wait mode in regards to my dad's job issues. Long story short, a company is taking over his and lots of jobs won't be there any more. My dad's been looking for positions elsewhere but really wants one related to Carrier Corp UTC (the company he has been working for for over 16 or so years... probably more..). He's been given an offer but as of now we don't know if this new position will move us to Florida, North Carolina, or keep us in Cali but a different part. If we do end up moving out-of-state, we would have accomplished living in California for about 3 years. I must tell anyone reading this that 3 years is pretty good considering the longest we've lived in one state is 7 years (about 7 years in Connecticut and about 7 years in North Carolina).
Well, I can't think of much else to spew out. I'll just post some random photos from different events and activities that were relatively recent.
First will be a photo of me and my siblings at Yard House on my twin sister's and my 21st birthday. (Jan. 2, 2010) I'm the second from the right, Liz is at the farthest right, Stephen (brother) is farthest left, Ben (brother) is between me and Stephen.
Next is a photo of me and 'my' puppy, Chewie (the family dog) while we (my sister and I) were visiting our mom's school where she teaches and where our youngest brother goes to school. It was after school was over and on the weekend so Chewie could come. =]
And last...
... those were the days =P Haha, my sister and I when we were little. I'm the one with the Pepsi bottle...
