I just had the shortest medical appointment ever; it was awesome.
Being in New York and knowing it was just for a night was weird. I slept in Hayden, my ID card resting in the box guarded by Pouncy and then Padilla (and perhaps someone else in between, I'm not sure). The afternoon preceding, I went with Dina to the Cooper Union student curated art show, then watched the Miama/Detroit basketball game at her friend's apartment.
Yesterday, we ventured to the Met, where I gleefully only paid one dollar for admission. We got to see the Diane Arbus photo retrospective, which was cool; I enjoy getting to see something new every time I go, especially in the photography wing. We also went to the musical instruments section, which I'd never seen before, and I got to watch Dina drool over many violins. There was one really funny viola, I think, called "the monster."
I took the train home by myself and the conductor didn't make me pay extra, even though I missed the off peak train times by one train.
I feel lazy and unmotivated and have no idea what I'm going to do with myself until June 21st. I'm supposed to clean my room.
