Kayaker of doooooom!
Just found out the national certification i'm taking so many extra-hard courses for to couple with my degree is pretty much useless. Not only that, but they now charge you $500 to recieve your ornamental "certification". Apperantly the two proffessors who talked me into it are long-time members and try to recruit everyone. I'm tired of the university wasting my time and milking me dry.
Got my state i.d. from DEM today. Hopefully i start working this week. We'll see. It would seem one of my first projects wil be kayaking all the salt-ponds in southern ri to addle swan eggs.(bird-abortion by shaking of the egg)(For anyone interested, swans are a very mean invasive species that outcompetes and beats the crap out of many indigenous waterfowl species)All I know is i'm getting paid to go kayaking(yay!) while enforcing the "circle of life".
This weekend i am house/kitty sitting in Providence. I love sitting on kitties;)
