yamapi is cuter than a flock of bunnies frolicking in a meadow.
So! Today was full of accomplishments, important or not. (To everybody but me, they really aren't important, hahaha. Ha.)
First thing, my mom took me to drop off all the applications I picked up yesterday (though i totally forgot about the one to Applebee's, so I guess we'll drop that one off tomorrow), and ended up driving to Target and getting an application from the nearby Michaels... and applying to Target. Which deserves a paragraph in itself.
Target, in case you didn't know, has little electronic kiosks, and you fill out your application on a computer. There's an intimidating red phone by the keyboard, and when you finish applying, you're told to pick up the phone and talk to a "Team Leader." This Team Leader then tells you to wait at the kiosk until somebody comes to point you to the office.
This is where I go "ohhh shit what have I gotten myself into? o___o" and get ready to panic, because before I learn anything about what to say in an interview, I'm escorted to a little room, and interviewed twice, by different people. Now, considering I barely know anything about interviews, I think I did fairly well. XD; Though I think I left an awful impression appearance-wise, because my face was splotchy, and my hair was quite.. uh.. interestingly mussed. (I was quite literally running out the door that morning.)
But that's over and done with. So now I'm waiting for phone calls from a multitude of places. ^_^; -hopes >_>!!-
So keep in mind that if you decide to apply at Target, be ready and presentable and KNOW WHAT YOU'RE GOING TO SAY. o___o I apologized about fifty times for totally not being able to think of situations that the questions asked for.. like "Describe a time you offered someone help, and what resulted of it." Man. ;
Overall, I think it was a good experience. And my mom insisted that the adrenaline was good for me. XD;
I want to start working on the PrinPrin cosplaaay~~ But I need more reference pictures. Maybe I'll just rewatch episodes.
Speaking of episodes, I ran out of Nobuta o Produce to watch. ._____. -waiting for episode 9 to be fully up- Man. I can't decide who I like more -- Akira or Shuuji. I have a fond spot for funky-speech and crazy-antics, though, as well as a HUGE soft spot for yamapi, so I guess I'd choose Akira. Not that I'm offered a choice or anything. /swwwwwwwwwt But uh.
