Onew x Key
The Appa and Umma of the group, respectively. They really do act like a married couple sometimes - overdramatic Key Umma and the poor Onew hubby trying to calm his wife down. They're often seen together on radio shows and (as of lately) on SHINee video appearances as well. Acting like total dorks of course. Apparently they look alike which is why they make such a good looking couple. Seriously I don't think they look alike at allll. :| Key's snarkiness balances out Onew's awkwardness and tendency to fail. Key often likes to make fun of Onew's "Onew condition" but you can tell that Onew strives for Key's approval, he wants to be recognized after all. Key being Key would ignore Onew's efforts but would be secretly pleased. He's the more subtle one in the relationship pretending not to adore Onew's endearing failing qualities. Adding to Onew's want of Key's approval, Onew has the tendency to light up every time Key pays attention to him or does something nice for him. He looks so surprised and pleased, it's really so adorable. Plus Key tends to be really touchy with Onew when he thinks no one is watching. Ohoho what does this mean KimKey?

-Key wiping the sweat off Onew's face with a towel during one of their charity events and Onew looking absurdly pleased and surprised that Key is babying over him

Jonghyun x Minho
Probably one of the more subtle touchy pairings of the group JongHo can be seen as the SHINee equivalent to the popular Super Junior KiHae. I seriously believe that Jonghyun is the one person Minho is the touchiest with not that they're not all touchy but come on. 8D And Minho has the tendency to stare at Jonghyun all the time, during interviews when Jonghyun's talking, when Jonghyun goes up to sing at radio shows, all the time. It's sorta weird why they aren't such a big couple because they compliment each other rather well. (Jonghyun's short and Minho's tall xD) Jonghyun isn't the complete opposite of Minho because there are times when Minho teases back and then it's a lovely shocker to see Jonghyun's surprised face. Yes, Jonghyun is the one member that likes to tease Minho the most - he bothered the poor boy when he was on his date. jealousy much? Jonghyun always has this smug little smile when he's talking to Minho which leaves much to the imagination of crazy fangirls. Minho is probably the only one who could deal with Jonghyun and his hyperactiveness and weirdness - he wouldn't get annoyed because that's not really a Minho thing to do. Jonghyun would so appreciate that fact haha. And they look so cute together no joke, especially when they hug~

Taemin x Key
This is a hilarious sort of pairing - overprotective!Umma and rebellious!son. Results in flaily emotional Key and slightly annoyed twitching Taemin. It does exist, people are just afraid to write it/ship it because it's considered incest. And in an odd freaky way it is. Key is literally an overbearing mother to his "precious son" Taemin. It's cute how Key likes to baby Taemin and treats him like he's five, not fifteen (hahaha blatantly stealing the name of my unni's fic 8D) but Key can also be a scary violent domestic mother who spanks her son for being "naughty." Key's nagging sometimes bothers Taemin and he responds by being a "disobedient" son, in short acting like a normal teenager. The reality is that Taemin is much more mature than people realize and to some degree Key realizes that Taemin's a man but still treats him the same as always. Their adorable relationship persists and I'm sure in some shape or form, Taemin likes being babied too. (I mean it's Key xD)

-When Taemin shows his bandmates what the noona gave him on their date, Key takes them and says "I'll take care of them my son" or something like that and Taemin cracks up hard
-Key slapping Taemin while they're on their job because Taemin referred to him informally by using "this person."
-On their M!Countdowns Key goes crazy with his "saranghaes" and does this whole spazzy saranghae dance and at the end Taemin gives him this weirded out look and Key gets embarrassed and hides behind Taemin (Key never hides from the camera. Such a camwhore)

Jonghyun x Onew
Before you say anything - they're the two lead singers. I think that pretty much speaks for itself. (They have so many duets together it's not even funny hehehe) JongYu is epic in its own little right. Jonghyun loves to bother Onew whether it be about Onew sangtae or just in general. And Onew never ever seems to get mad at Jonghyun The dear thing probably doesn't know how to frown 8D and just laughs it off and goes along with it. Sometimes he even banters back which is pretty wonderful because Onew usually never has any comebacks to anyone - except with Jonghyun. He likes to argue with Jonghyun. (awww) They also like to refer to each other when they're talking Jonghyun always exclaiming that Onew is leader and should talk more. Jonghyun and Onew talk the most in interviews not counting Key in this and sometimes they finish each other's sentences or say the same thing. It's cute. They also can be quite affectionate from time to time. (when JongKey aren't being ridiculous that is.) They're often seen together at radio talk shows (because they speak a lot) and at singing shows as well (once again being the two main singers plays to us fangirls advantages.) They may seem ninja because other pairings overshadow the two of them but the few moments when Key's not in between them are absolutely epic.

-Onew's "jealousy" when one of the noonas in their Yunhanam show comes in and is all over Jonghyun. He's rather rude to the noona at first. (And then Jonghyun's facial expression when the noona ends up picking Onew instead.)
-Jonghyun accidentally introducing himself as leader at the beginning of one of their performances
-Onew changing his answer to "What member would you date if you were a girl?" to Jonghyun ♥
-Jonghyun and Onew teasing each other before Jonghyun goes on a boat ride with the noona, "Shall I tell about last night then?" "Do you want to get punished?" xD

Taemin x Minho
2Min is that one pairing in SHINee that's ridiculously adorable and cute it just gives you cavities. They're the two youngest which should already make you go "awww" an infinite amount of times. M!Countdown seems to support 2Min a lot because we see a lot of fanservice between them in the M!Countdown videos. It's so adorable too. They would be an extremely sweet couple because Taemin is...well Taemin and Minho is silent and strong but would totally crack under Taemin's cute influence. Minho is the type that would be overprotective when it comes to Taemin (but not overbearing Key umma status) especially since he used to be the magnae in SM before Taemin came around - so of course he'd take extra care of his donsaeng since it is his first donsaeng in SM. They also said that they would date each other if they were girls - Taemin's excuse would be because Minho is Flaming Charisma. Taemin would have this sort of adoring admiration of Minho because he's so cool and Minho wouldn't be able to resist Taemin because he's so cute. Another interesting fact is that they're the most composed when they win awards and stuff - probably squeezing each other's hands to keep each other strong. Oh my heart ♥ *dies*

This is undoubtedly one of the most popular pairings in the SHINee fandom. Why? Because these two are filled to the brim with pure unadulterated ghei. They literally can't keep their hands off each other. They're the closest to each other in the group - best friends pretty much. They even share a dorm. Jonghyun and Key are the "partners in crime" - constantly goofing off, joking around, and being complete and utter retards. It's cute in the bff kind of way. Personally I can't see them as a pairing romantic wise - I like their friendship better. But they're always so touchy feely and cuddly and Key burying his face into Jonghyun's shoulder that fangirls can't help but love them. (Random fact: They're the most popular pairing at the SHINee forums) I know I'm being repetitive but they really are the definition of solid best friends. They're always seen together, they're always talking, they're probably each other's closest confidant. It's a really pure and fluffy friendship ♥

Onew x Taemin
Another under appreciated SHINee couple which is quite a shame because OnTae does have oodles of moments. It's Appa and son at its best fersure. They like to goof off together backstage. Sometimes Taemin will tease Onew every now and then but often when Onew is being...well Onew, Taemin just stands in the background like "LOL :D" Since they're next to each other in the line up there's a lot of whispering going between them too, except they are fond of going cheek to cheek when whispering. (seriously boys that isn't necessary yet you still do it♥) Plus oldest and youngest - so cute right? Onew would be protective over Taemin (okay who isn't protective over that child?) in an awkward way compared to the rest of them. (think father giving his daughter the talk about the birds and the bees) They really are cute and I think Taemin is amazed by the fact that someone older than him can fail as much as Onew does - the older amuses him. Also Onew is very clingy to Taemin, perhaps he has a jailbait arm fetish. 8D

-OnTae touching each other's asses at a Star Golden Bell episode while they were participating in this game and had to cover the clothes areas where holes might be (And then getting asked how they felt about it LOL)

-Taemin dancing to "So Hot" at the hanbok special of SGB, getting embarrassed, and dragging Onew to come dance with him

Key x Minho
Key can never stop talking. Minho barely talks at all. That, if anything, should get you liking this pairing because they share similar interests and do similar things but they are so completely different it's not even funny. They're the two rappers and their rapping together is positively epic. (and it's wonderful how they both rap well but different - Minho is more suave and cool while Key goes at it hard and fiery) They both studied Chinese and English but Key is more flamboyant about it, so they probably practice their languages together. They really seem like the type that would do stuff together in their spare time regarding their interests because that's how they come together in the first place. In this pairing, there's a whole lot of whispering going on. All the time. KeyHo is one the two pairings that whisper the most. Also Key becomes unnaturally thrilled everytime he cracks a smile or laugh out of Minho and starts smiling and laughing himself. Minho would be a good person to rant to because he'd stay quiet enough for Key to finish all his talking (because we all freaking now there's a lot of it) without anyone to tell him to shut up. Key would do enough of the talking in the relationship. So there's a twisted up Ying and Yang between these two. That's pretty tight y/y?

-Key laughing so hard when they're onstage, he turns and lays his head on Minho's shoulder to rest
-During when of their Yunhanam episodes when they're reading anonymous love confessions Key makes Minho read one (I don't remember exactly what it said but I know it had "I love you anyways" in it) and asks who it was that wrote it and Minho immediately goes "Key hyung" (Key gets all flustered and starts laughing)
-Minho supporting Key as the poor boy blubbers over himself when they won "Best New Song." Minho kept a tight hold on Key's back. <3

Jonghyun x Taemin
TaeHyun is the ultimate big brother/little brother relationship. It's easy to tell that Taemin absolutely adores and admires his hyung and Jonghyun loves Taemin insanely as a little brother. Taemin is amazed by Jonghyun since his existence is the definition of an ideal hyung - fun, talented, and caring. Jonghyun on the other hand constantly showers the Taemin with affection, one of his favorites is ruffling Taemin's hair. If that doesn't scream "BIG BROTHER" to you then I don't know what does. One random hilarious fact about this couple is that Taemin's taller. Total "rofl" status. Taemin was the most attached to Jonghyun in the beginning (why we can only imagine) and they first initiated the constant skinship that started our love of the SHINee ghei. They also like to mess around with each other onstage as well, Taemin doing his aegyo and Jonghyun just laughing at him for being such a cute kid. It's a pretty cute couple. I like it the least though :|

I save my personal OTP for last. This is the most ninja pairing of all the SHINee pairings combined - meaning that they have the least noticeable cuddly moments of all the pairings. Actually when you look closely they have a decent amount of moments, they're all just super subtle everyone misses it. TofuHo is adorable because Onew is so full of complete fail and Minho is so...not. It's like watching a perfect composed boyfriend with his ditzy clumsy girlfriend. It's so squishy and lovely. Plus Minho is the one member that gives leader sshi the least trouble. Because face it - JongKey is quite a handful and Taemin can be rather snarky at times. So it must be refreshing to have someone "normal" in the group. Their love is sweet silent and epic. Those two are seen together on Star Golden Bell being absolutely cute. (in a subtle way of course.) There would be some manliness issues since Onew is leader and should ooze manliness yet Minho is the epitome of manliness and I could see Onew getting slightly jealous over that but Minho reassuring him in his Minho way. (he's ensured Onew's "leader status" in multiple ways.) Also as leader, Onew tries his best to make sure that Minho is included in everything they do. Minho would always look out for his Dubu because he worries that leader sshi will work himself to death - always silently watching. So not stalker mkays. Besides isn't TofuHo the cutest pairing name you ever heard? <3 *spazz spazz*
