Bush is actually TAKING RESPONSIBILITY FOR SOMETHING.
He said in the press conference with Iraqi President Talibani that he took full responsibility for the government's failures in responding to Katrina.
Once again, too fresh for me to link a news story. But damn. This is a guy who refused in the presidential debates to name even a single thing he'd ever done wrong, and just yesterday when asked if he could name one thing that didn't go right over these past two weeks had nothing to say there either. He's not about "second-guessing" but about "solving problems," he said then... but generally his approach has been that there's nothing problematic with anything he's done. So... for him to actually take responsiblity at this level is a damn big deal.
