8. What is your scariest encounter with the paranormal?
My sister, cousins and I were staying an afternoon at my grandparent's house. Somehow my sister and I started to argue in the hallway, about who know's what and all of a sudden, the bathroom door to the left of us started to tremble, the doorknob started to jiggle violently, as if someone was trying to get out. We just froze up and stared at this happen which seemed like forever. After it stopped, we just looked at each other and started to call out for our cousins. Either was on opposite ends of the house. My grandmother was at one end. Eventually I entered the bathroom to see that the window had been ever so slightly, if not even, open. It was undeniably impossible to debunk, to even think it was wind. We told our grandmother and she went to check on her own. I learned years later, through my mother, that she remembered going in there and seeing a man standing behind the door. And that her tongue swelled to the point where she couldn't talk... then.
Not really scary but my ex-boyfriend's mother was killed at her house years ago. I remember when it was safe to go back into the house... there had been an incredible force field in her room, where she was taken. I couldn't enter the room, I mean I could not literally cross the threshold and suddenly had the worst headache come on that I had to go outside and get a breather. It left as quickly as it came.
I have felt things before. Not seen. I cannot even imagine what that would feel like.
