Terry Gilliam talks The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus
*loony*

Last night I came across an article about the fine line between imitation and inspiration. I know how extremely thin that line is that it's almost transparent and sometimes, non-existent. I would really love to hear everyone and anyone's point of view on this subject. So when does the inspiration become imitation? And most times, if there is a rip-off in any given art form, how does that become inspiring and not plagiarism?
