I caught Adrienne Shelly's film Waitress and gahgahgah! What a bittersweet little gem! It was so heartwarming and delightful and... sad. Sad because Adrienne couldn't be around to see what she did. {I figured this is the same empty-bottomless-slapped feeling one will experience after seeing The Dark Knight} And to know that her little baby girl was in the film and I learned this the day after, it just hit me harder. I recommend this, oh yes I do. And oh, it did remind me abit of Pushing Daisies. But without Lee Pace of course. Or Anna. And Kristin... and Chi. And oh ok, without the kooky-surrealism. The only semblance was the pies. It's a little dreamy, when the pies are involved. Ok ok ok, it has a faint recollection of Pushing Daisies. Yet beyond that little sidenote, it's a very lovely film. I could actually keep on but I don't want to spoil anything at all. See it if you can.

And woot! A bit of cheerios later, I gots me my baby bats and baby puddin'

YAY!
