Final stretch...
AACK. 8 months until Christmas, but LESS THAN A MONTH UNTIL GRADUATION. Why is this so scary?
I'm still talking to the Army and they took me to Columbus Friday afternoon to take the general entrance test. The highest you can socre is 99, and I got a 92. That's pretty good... except Category 1 jobs start at 93. So I'm eligible for -almost- any job. :( 1 point away!! It kill me a little. I stayed in a hotel and the next morning at 4:30 I had to wake up, get breakfast, and be bussed back to the same building so doctors could check me out and make sure I wasn't sickly or hard of hearing or had bad eyesight or anything like that.
Then my recuriter came in to pick up me and the other guys I went to Columbus with. As we were waiting for 2 of them to get paperwork done and be sworn in to the army, my recruiter was complaining about being tired cuz he had to wake up at 6:30. I just looked at him and he goes "Yeah, I know you woke up at like 3.."
They want to set me up to take the linguist test this Thursday, but I'm really on the fence between enlisting for linguistics or going the officer route. :(
In other news, Shea started talking to me again near the beginning of April. According to him, we never broke up this time around, he just needed a break. I don't really know what to think about that, but I like talking to him again.
Thesis... blah. Turned in the first draft, still working on it (after leaving it alone for like 2 weeks, whoops). Vikings class I really don't care for anymore. It's mainly about writing the 20-page paper now and I really, really can't stand my paper. I'm serious. I haven't had such an aversion to any kind of schoolwork ever in my life. It's strange. My other classes are pretty meh anymore.. I just want to get them over with, but at the same time I don't want to graduate! I'll have to go out into the real world then, and that's uber daunting.
At least I've seen Unfortunate Mustache like 4 times tonight. Which makes up for not seeing him hardly at all last week. :3 He's a campus cop and he's had a mustache for a couple months now... but he needs to shave it back off. Really, his face isn't suited for a mustache. And Edith and I see him often enough... we just don't know how to tell him. I saw him twice in one of the buildings as he did his rounds, I saw him in the commons as he checked out the student center, then I saw him on my front porch as I came home, talking to one of my neighbors with another cop. xD I really need to find out his name.
