Title: Timeless - Chapter Three.
Pairings: (main) ShiChul, Past!HanChul, KangTeuk (supporting) JaeHo, JaeMin, YooSu, MinSu, HyukSu, EunHae, KyuWook, KiHae, and maybe more, as I think them up.
Summary: Sometimes love lasts forever, and other times it needs a second chance.
Notes: I actually lost the jump drive that this story was on about a year ago (my kitty stole it DD:), and i found it just now. It might seem a bit outdated and I have been out of the fandom for months, but it's a story that I really worked hard on and when I lost my jump drive, I thought it was lost forever. But not anymore~! :DD Anyway based on, of course, Zhang Li Yin's Timeless PV.

The morning sun burned brightly against his back as he shuffled through the busy streets of Korea, head hung low and hand at its now regular position over his heart. It had been a while since he'd been out in the daylight; his business was usually conducted in the darkness of night. Though he'd be hard pressed to admit it, the feel of the sun was refreshing. His walk was determined though, direction predetermined not of his choosing, but of the strings of haunting dreams pulling him toward that corner of nowhere.

It was empty when he arrived, the red-headed shopkeeper nowhere in sight. Shiwon felt a frown developing and the constant ache in his chest throbbed intensely. The overpowering fragrance of flowers filled his senses and he gave into the need to touch them, caressing each with a gentle stroke of his fingers. Laughter echoes in his ears, though there was only silence around him.

"Excuse me sir, can I help you?" His heart peaked with familiarity at the foreign sounding syllables and Shiwon turned to find a young chinese boy looking at him curiously.

For a second Shiwon is struck speechless, unsure as to why a young high school student would have him lost for words. He had no dreams of this boy, but he felt that he should know him when he clearly didn't. "I...I'm looking for flowers."

The edge of the boy's lips curved up. "Well, you've come to the right place."

Shiwon frowned, knowing when he was being teased. He looked around, taking in the pre-done arrangements. "I'm looking for something that..." His brain came up blank and sprouted the first thing to come to mind. "For someone who's forgotten things."

The young boy tilted his head to the side thoughtfully before glancing to his right and picking up a beautiful bouquet of vibrantly purple flowers. "What about these? They're forget-me-nots."

"These are forget-me-nots," the redhead's teeth shone brightly as she--no, he--smiled a teasing smile. "So when you go back home, you won't forget me."

Shiwon's hand clenched his chest as his heart throbbed painfully. The boy looked startled and reached for him. "Are you okay, sir?"

"I'm fine, it's just an old surgery..."

Glass shattered and the both of them turned. "You..." The girl--no, boy--from the night before stood amiss a sea of glass and water. The pain in Shiwon's chest intensified, as if it were reaching out to the person standing in front of him.

"Hyung!" The chinese boy beside him exclaimed, but Heechul paid him no mind, a frown marring his beautiful face as he glared at Shiwon.

"Yah!, if you're not feeling well, then why are you even out here?!" Heechul looked livid, though Shiwon wasn't sure why. Glancing down, he realized he was still clutching his chest and let his hand drop to his side, chastised.

"I..." There was something about this place. Something that was so familiar. Something... "I need to go."

Heechul watched as the man rushed out of the shop for the second time. Henry blinked and looked up at his hyung curiously. "Hyung? Do you know him?"

Heechul shook his head. No, he didn't. But there was something about the man that seemed to spark something like familiarity deep within Heechul. A feeling that something long lost had returned shuddered through his spine the moment he'd seen the man again. The same feeling that had brought him outside to see the other man stumble. "Why is he always running away?"

Shiwon stumbled into his family's complex, hand clutching at his chest as he frowned in thought. There was something linking him to that place and although he was not one for superstitions, this was a bit much.

"Shiwon-sshi?" Shiwon glanced up to meet the worried eyes of the Sungmin, family caretaker. "Are you alright? Do I need to call a doctor?"

Shiwon shook his head. "No, I'm fine. I..." He frowned. "Sungmin-sshi, do you believe in superstitions?"

Sungmin blinked, stunned at the question. "Depending on the superstition, I guess," Sungmin responded hesitantly, confused at the behavior of his ward. It was unlike Shiwon to ask such questions. He was the keeper of the household and a servant to the family for many years. He had seen each of the four children grow up and none were as practical and serious as Shiwon. Talk of superstition was not something that he ever expected to hear from his ward's mouth. "There are things that lead our lives that are unseen. Is there something that is bothering you, Shiwon-sshi?"

Shiwon shook his head. "No...but..." Shiwon looked reluctant to continue, but he plunged on. "I...need you to do something for me." Shiwon looked confused and almost torn, another unfamiliarity. Sungmin wondered if there was a full moon out. "It's nothing serious. I just want to know something."

"Anything." Sungmin promised. It was unusual for the heir to ask anything of him. JaeJoong always ordered him to get food, Yoochun for the random accessories and Kyuhyun was a handful as it was, with his health problems. Shiwon was the most independent from Sungmin and as such, a request from Shiwon was rare and worrying.

"I need you to find out..." There was a pregnant pause as Shiwon struggled with the words. "I need you to find out who my heart belongs to."
