tidbit: past 1
in high school, i slept a lot but irregularly, watched shows and videos, doodled, did the bare minimum of school, and slept in my classes because i was up all night doodling. i didn't care about life, i think. college was something i started because it was expected of me, not because i thought i needed or wanted it. i felt like a constant disappointment to my parents. i easily went from hyper to unresponsive to easily irritated to pleasant to indifferent. applying to universities was a chore and my overzealous parents spent hundreds of dollars to send applications to ivy league unis i knew in my heart i wouldn't get into. in fact, the uni i go to right now is one i applied to simply because they sent me a postcard inviting me to a free application.
