Just to catch everyone up that hasn't read my Myspace blog, I was able to get approved to get on the waiting list for the new houses that will be built in Riverside later this year through the RADO program. From what I've seen from RADO experiences from friends, I know the timeline isn't always the most accurate, so who really knows when it'll start, however, getting approved to get on the waiting list was my first goal. I'm number 3 on the list.
The big decision now, was when to sell my house. I FINALY (after avoiding it for particular reasons) called John, my friend whose family is in Real Estate, a few minutes ago and asked him about having their company sell my house. So his Mom is going to call me and I'm sure we'll discuss details as far as getting my house on the market and ready to sell.
This is both nervewracking and exciting for me, but more exciting. Nervous stuff: I don't like the idea of IF my house sells quickly, having to scramble to find storage, get stuff moved, and find a new place in Riverside to rent. Exciting stuff: Getting closer to living in an area I'd much rather be in. Seeing if I can make some decent profit off of my current house. I already KNOW I'll make some profit, since I got it at such a great price. But my main goal is to make enough profit. I want to make enough profit to at least ease up on stressors so that I can use the extra money to make a good dowm payment on the new house, help with the costs of the storage unit, and help with costs of renting for who knows how many months.
But yes, the wheels are in motion.
