On Friday, Nathan, Jess, and I went to Spring Valley's Homecoming football game. It was pretty cool. We didn't watch the game, we just talked to people and watched the marching band. We were walking on the pavement near the bleachers, and I kinda fell of the side of the pavement and kinda rolled into a heap of mud. Surprisingly though, I didn't get dirty or hurt myself. We lost the game 45 to 7. we suck at football.
Saturday was absolutely awesome. The morning was probably the most stressful morning I've ever had. I had to deal with everyone's problems such as Nathan needing me to pick him up and take hime to my grandparents' house, and trying to get Susan to meet up with Nick at Macy's, overcoming Susan's mother's overwhelming need to make crabcakes. Nathan and I met up with Amy at Spring Valley to get pictures, but we never did because Jess, Nick, and Susan didn't get there on time so we had to go on to Hibachi. When we got there, Shannon didn't show up, so we had to sit with two annoying alcoholics. When we got to the dance, we sat around doing nothing for about an hour, then we went inside the dance. At the very beginning of the dance, the guy who raped a cat threw up, and that was really gross. We danced for a while and bumped and grinded. Then they played hollaback girl, which was the highlight of the night because we all started doing the SNNAS routine. Some of the other highlights were mine and Susan's lyrical interperatation of Nelly and Tim McGraw's "All in my Head", several other lyricals, the cha cha slide, and mine Amy's famous slow dance. When one guy took his shirt off and "twirled it like a helecopter", he elbowed some girl in the face, and she grabbed her nose and fell to the ground. He didn't notice, and nobody else really cared, which was both sad and hilarious. Mrs. Staley kep coming in and randomly removing people, but one guy dancing behind Amy and I was stripping and humping his date, and Mrs. Staley walked right by him and didn't even do anything. It was great to just be with all of SNNAS again and have all my friends from spring valley there too. I wish Susan lived closer to us. I'm gonna miss her so much. My first school dance was absolutely amazing.
This morning, something strange happened. Just wait till you hear this. I got up this morning, and went downstairs. Everyone knows how I love apple juice right? Well I started to drink a glass of apple juice, and I noticed it tasted different. Kinda fizzy...and just...weird. I smelled it, and it smelled weird too, but I was just like "oh well", and I proceded to drink the entire jug of apple juice. I started to feel kinda funny. When my mom got home from the grocery store, I went up to her and said "Mom, I ......think there....might be something wrong...with....with....the apple juice." She smelled my empty glass and said "Oh my gosh! It's fermented!". For those of you who don't know, when fruit juice gets old, it turns alcoholic. I was kinda buzzed for a while. So that was an experience I never thought I'd have. Well....I guess you live, you learn.
