So yesterday (Sunday, August 12) was the Advanced BangZoom! Voice Acting workshop in midtown Manhattan, near Rockefeller Center. It felt kind of self-centered of me to sign up for a workshop/class labeled "Advanced-level," as I have never taken an acting class ever in my life. I've been in one play, during the 6th grade, where I was a girl in a box ( Read more... )

I didn't wear a petticoat with the dress though, so some might not really consider it lolita. The only petticoat I have is extra puffy, and I just thought it'd be too much for me to wear, especially if I'll be in a recording booth all day. Might make too much noise, and I didn't want Tony to think I was too crazy, lol. I bought a more toned down petticoat, but they frigging took a week to ship it out, and even then, it wasn't actually shipped until 2 days after I got the shipping notification. *rolls eyes* So the tamer petticoat didn't arrive on time.

Yeah, my proportions might be too small for most JSKs/OPs. Most bust measurements on the dresses start at like 87cm, and my bust is ~72cm. As you can expect, waists are a problem as well for me, since my waist is ~62cm, but it's doable if the dress has a belt or something. The BTSSB JSK I had intended to wear has a belt (as does the IW JSK I ended up wearing), so that was no issue, it's just the frigging empty space between each side of my body and the dress that ruins the entire look. *sigh* T___T

*shrug* Horizontally challenged.

mmm maybe, if you can, you can get it altered to fit your size :/. Or stick with custom-sized offbrand stuff for OPs/JSKs :/.
And yeah, that 15 cm difference is rather big; dunno why someone told you a blouse would fill it out -.-;;.
