Roller coasters are a lot of fun
When I asked this woman to marry me almost 2 years ago, I assumed it was going to be a quick, easy, painless process that we wrapped up nice and neat, and then went on to the more important things of life, like the "honeymoon".
Well, as most of you know, life had other things in store for Monica and me. We received the news that we were going to be parents together just a few short months before our original planned wedding date, and things have been in flux ever since.
One thing is for sure, though - I still love this woman more than life itself, and I would marry her any time, anywhere, any way. But, since she is the bride, and this is "her day", I am with her every step of the way as we plan this wedding "for real".
Hopefully we both escape with our sanity, because I still really am looking forward to the honeymoon part.
