Yamada turned his back from Yuto.
"Yappari, Strawberry ice cream saiko!!!
Yuto heard some giggling sound from behind.
He saw Yamada's smiling face from the mirror infront of him.
Yuto, unconsciously, smiled while staring at him.
"Giggling while eating ice cream? What is he thinking?"
Yamada noticed it "Ah!" and blushed.
"AHAHAHA!!! Are you ok?" Yuto is laughing out loud like there's no tomorrow.
"Stop laugh---"
before Yamada said those words, Yuto went near him. So close that he can't even breath.
"What ...what are you...doing?..." blushing Yamada said. "and doing it in public..."
Yuto with serious face went closer and closer...Yamada's heart is pounding. He doesn't know what to do. Suddenly, he dropped the ice cream on Yuto's left shoe.
"Oi! WHAT THE!" Yuto frowned at him.
Yamada looked so nervous.
"Don't you want to say sorry?!" he said while wiping his left shoe with his handkerchief.
"Gomen" He turned his back.
"Tsk! 'Gomen'?! then you turned your back?! Thank you for being sincere. Tsk!" Yuto raised his left eyebrow and stared at him from his back.
Yamada suddenly ran.
"Oi! Where are you going?! Wait!" Yuto followed him.
"You're leaving your date?! What are you?!" He shouted.
"ah!!! I wanna go home!!!"
"WAIT~!!!"
and when Yamada turned his head to take a glance at the rich boy..."AH~!!!"
He tripped and fell off the cemented staircase.
"Oi! BAKA~!!!"
Yuto rushed to where he fell. "Are you ok?! Tsk!"
Yamada is in pain but he didn't say a word. Yuto saw his shoes, it was torned apart.
"so that's why he fell."
"Where's the pain?" Yuto said in a worried face.
"Here? How about here?" He pointed to different parts of Yamada's body.
"Gold dig-"
"STOP IT!!!" Tears flow from his eyes. "Why do you keep calling me 'gold digger'?! I'm not! I work hard everyday for my family to live but your calling me that way as if I don't care for anything but money! How dare you!"
Yuto was just staring at him.
"That's the problem with you rich people! You always look down on us! Without knowing that we're working harder to live than you do! Everyday...everyday is like a game for us. If we don't play and win, we die."
He looked at Yuto, "BUT YOU DON'T CARE, RIGHT?!"
Yamada, still in pain, tried to stood up.
"I'm going home. Find someone else to date! Someone who's really a gold digger. I'm sure you'll enjoy bugging her."
Yamada can't move his left leg but he don't want to say it hurts. He stood up and walked.
He was shocked when Yuto appeared infront of him.
"What now?" sniffing Yamada said.
"Give me your hands." Yuto said with his head down.
"Huh?! Stay away from-"
Yuto suddenly grabbed his arms and give him a piggy back.
"What are you doing?! Put me down!!!" Resisting Yamada said but Yuto did not listen.
"Where's your house?" He asked in a serious tone.
"I will not tell you! Put me down!"
"WHERE?!" Yuto shouted.
A small boy who passed by heard him and suddenly...cried.
"Don't shout." Yamada said.
"Just tell me where you leave"
"I don't have a choice, right?"
Yamada sighed and told him where to go.
They walked for about 20 minutes...
Silence...
That's all you can hear...
"Is this how rich people smell? It's like he just took a bath."
Yuto, on the other hand.
"I can feel his heartbeat. It's fast. I wonder what's he's thinking." and smiled.
*in front of their house*
"We're here."
"Where?" Yuto saw a small rickety house but tried to believe it's not the one.
"Here. This, infront of you."
Yuto was shocked but he doesn't want to express it in words.
"You can bring me down now."
"No, I'll bring you to your room."
"My sister is already sleeping. She might get shocked if she saw a guy enter our room."
"He sleep with his sister?"
Suddenly...
"Okaasan!!!" a loud voice coming inside the house.
Yamada was alarmed and rushed inside the house without thinking about the pain.
Yuto was worried so he came inside.
"Kaasan~!!!" Crying Yamada shouted.
Yuto, with his heart pounding, saw a women lying on the floor. There were blood coming out from her left wrist.
Yuto was shocked. He doesn't know what to do.
"Kaasan!!! Why did you do this?!" Yamada said.
"Without me... you *cough*... can live better... You don't have...*gasp* you don't have to....*gasp*... to think about me anymore..." His mother said while tears are falling from her eyes.
Yuto covered his mouth with his right hand.
"Ryosuke, *gasp* ..."
Yamada turned to Yuto and kneeled.
"Please, help us..." Crying Yamada said.
"Ryosuke...no need..." his mother said.
"PLEASE!!!"
Yuto grabbed his arms and said, "You don't have to do that."
Yuto brought out his phone and call for an ambulance.
*at the hospital*
"Doctor? How's my mom?"
"She lost lots of blood and she needs to stay here in the hospital for a few days."
"nii-chan~"
"And, we also discovered that she has pneumonia. We have to continue monitoring her."
"That's why she kept on coughing..." He said inside.
"For now, we have to wait until she wakes up." the doctor then left.
"nii-chan..." His sister looked at him. "What are we going to do?...We don't have money." She said with a worried face.
Yamada wanted to look tough for his sister. He hugged her and said, "Don't worry...Don't worry."
Yuto, remained standing behind.
"I have to help them."
"Let's go to the orthopedic department. We have to know your foot's condition too." He suggested.
"I'm ok. Don't worry about me." Although he's not.
"I'll pay for everything."
"No. I want to look for money all by myself."
"What are going to do? Look for a contest and join? Then what if the prize is still a date? You'll just waste your time!"
"I already wasted my time with you. If I did not come to that stupid date, my mom..."
"So you're saying it's my fault? I'm already giving you my help."
"I told you alrea-"
"I'll ask something in return."
"Huh?!"
"You don't want easy money, right? Then...I'll give you the money but in return, you have to stop working and work for me instead."
Yamada looked at him with doubt on his face.
"I'll do everything for you, mom..."
Yuto placed his hands on Yamada's shoulders. He looked straight to his eyes.
"Take it or leave it."
"Sorry but I don't know how to give you the help that you need in a way that you'll not resist."
Yamada took a deep breath.
"I don't know what you're thinking but I don't care anymore. Ok. I'll do it."
Yuto took his hands off him.
"The first thing I want you to do is...Go to the Ortho department. Although you act like it doesn't hurt, I know it does. We have to know if it needs treatment."
"But-"
"Are you complaining?"
"mmm...nii-chan~...Who is he?" His curious sister said.
"Gomen, I forgot to introduce him. He is..."
