Okay, what the hell?
I was just talking to my grandma about how Mr. Kozuch is out for the week because of his dad's death and I was saying how sad it is because Mr. Kozuch is getting married in July and I'm sure that he wanted his dad there and everything, and my grandma was agreeing with me and everything until I somehow mentioned that Mr. Kozuch is gay. All of a sudden, my supporting grandma was like "whhattt? that's sick". How is it that just finding out someones sexual orientation makes you automatically hate them? Alright people here's what I think. Who is representing America? Insane Catholic traditionalists obsessed with controlling other peoples lives? Hey, since so many Americans don't want gay marriage, then lets just ban being gay! Yeah, good idea! Why should we care what happens in other peoples homes and who other people fall in love with? How do we have the right to deny the marriage between to people who happen to be the same sex and happen to be in love?
And so kill me, but my parents voted Bush because they thought Kerry was a dumbass. I get some of my parents points but he's 1. Against stem cell research. He says that he doesn't want to risk peoples lives to save other peoples lives. Hello? Iraq? 2. Against abortion. Alright, if abortion becomes illegal, people will not abruptly stop having sex, and if they do get pregnant, then they'll have to give birth to this kid who will most likely have a miserable life. Gilmore Girls is unrealistic. What right does the state have to tell a woman what to do with herself? 3. The aforementioned anti-gay marriage. No comment. This is just stupid.
