My top FOUR reasons
for why MTV is bad. (In order of importance)
1. They don't show Daria anymore. What IS this? Daria was by far the best show that taught everyone that it's good to be a smart and cynical person. Screw you, MTV.
2. Don't get me started on the music. It's bad enough that when I'm changing radio stations trying to get to 101.7 I have to pass by the wailing sounds of computer-synthesized voices of busty blondes who reportedly 'Co-wrote almost 2 of the 12 songs on her new HOT album!!!!!!'. MTV: I don't want to hear it and I certainly don't want to see it.
3. The mindless kids nominating these songs say something pointless and then scream really loudly when the music video is playing. Example: "HEY I'M TIFFANY AND I LOVE POP AND I LOVE BRITNEY AND JESSICA AND WE HAVE THE SAME TATTOO ON OUR BUTTS AND I LOVE YOU MOM, I LOVE YOU GERALD MARRY ME YOU'RE THE HOTTEST THING OUT THERE, WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!".
4. All these messed up "reality" dating shows, like 'Wanna come in?', 'Room raiders!' and I don't know what else there is out there but it's not entertainment. Entertainment is watching people that like to take off their clothes and scream at each other on Jerry Springer. Entertainment is watching Daria. Yeah, okay.
