Passive Californians

I know I once was an extremely passive person just like my siblings, but thank God New York changed that. I've changed so much for the better over the past year, and I've been showing qualities of my mother's lately. They are the good qualities, that help you to get ahead in life. I can't blame these people, because they have no drive. but today it just got on my nerves how damn passive so many of these people are. And they wonder why they don't get anywhere in life. They have no drive, which makes them lazy, and they take over 10 years to get out of college because of it, if they ever do. For goodness sake. some people just need to decide what they are going to be when they "grow up" and go for it. The visit to ghetto Riverside today to see my brother just annoyed me to no end.
Tonight over a conversation about what a terrible man my grandfather was, my mother informed me that he once sat on me when I was a baby. She said he did it on purpose just to get a rise out of her, and that he laughed and my dad thought it was funny, and said "she's okay." I can't believe that, I just heard this about 20 mins. ago, and it makes me sick. what a sick man.
