My first week back in California,
I saw two movies: 13 going on 30, and Van Helsing- both very entertaining... 13 going on 30 was really cute and I recommend it to girls and boys who like movies like 13 Candles, pretty in pink, and any other cute love comedy set in the 80's w/ a sweet soundtrack
The O.C. for about two days:
My dog was returned, she missed me,
possibly the worst hugh grant movie ever made: Love Actually
Mother's day was good, until I got in an argument with my mother and decided that it was best for me to live with my dad this summer(for the most part.) Some things never change.
Friends, visiting old photo teacher and high school,
My old classmate told me my portfolio was so good it made her want to curse, and she never cusses. My classroom had two girls who have "hipster" haircuts, and a guy who looks like he's dressed up like a member of The Strokes, fro... something not seen last year much.
Yuki and I went to Huntington Beach yesterday, which has to be my favorite place in Southern California. I was trying to rid myself of the pasty white skin I acquired while in NY. It was beautiful, she tried teaching me how to surf. It was my first time; Yuki is a patient person. She saw a jellyfish near us, and was pointing at it. I didn't see it, but it scared me to death. The only thing Yuki remembers from four years of spanish is: Saltar Las Olas. Yuki is joining the army reserve and everyone thinks she's crazy. Huntington Vintage stores, and Electric Chair reminded me of junior high. Chronic Tacos at Newport Beach, and Taco factory in Tustin have probably made me gain one pound since two days ago.
