In Thursday's class "Real World Photography," we where told that what it takes to sell your photography is to have your own STYLE. This is the most important thing. In Friday's class critique I was told over and over again by many people how I have my own distinct STYLE. My teacher reassured me that my photography was the type that people will pay for because of this, although I still really suck at lighting.
Friday I saw Phantom Planet with tons of 16 year old girls surrounding me, getting on my every last nerve. This is what high school felt like. I tried my hardest not to let the annoying crowd spoil the show, but I couldn't enjoy it much. Besides all this, Phantom Planet was a great live band, and it made me like them even more. I touched Alex's butt when he was crowd surfing, just like all the other girls wanted to. This was perhaps one of the finer moments of my weekend.
Last night was spent trying to have a good time, yet failing at every attempt. The night started at MisShapes and ended at The Smiths Party. Neither one was much fun but maybe it was just me.
