My violin lesson this week sucked!! I really didn't practice like I should have and boy, it did show!! I just kept screwing up, and screwing it up, and Matthew was being very patient, but I hated it. . . I want to be able to play well. . .and right now it seems that I am never going to master the violin. . . I know, I know, it is supposed to take time, but maybe I'm just getting too old to start something new. . .maybe I'll never get it. . . OH, and Robert's car. . .IS. . .DEAD. . .RIP R2D2. . .and he was such a good little car too. . .I'm gonna miss him and his cute little humming. . .unfortunatly we can't afford to pay to get him fixed. . .he needs a new transmission, and just the part is 1,200. . .and the labor is more than likely double that. SO as for right now, we are continuing with our carpool thing, which must really suck for him. . .cause he has to wait till after I get off work to pick him up, and that makes his days long. . .and on MOnday's when I have my lessons, he is there till close to 8pm. . .that's with going in at 7. . .I am so lucky to have him. I know I don't always treat him well, but he lets me do so much. . .and he lets me be me. . .which is more than anyone else in my life has let me be. . .friends excluded. So we have another 16 months to pay off my car, and then I guess we'll be getting him a new ride. . .but until then, our weekends are either together, or one of us stuck at home while the other is out doing their thing. . . my kids are still not going to live with us for another 16 months. . .now that is depressing. . .I miss them so much. . .yeah, I get to see them an hour or two a day, but I miss them, I miss slipping into their room and watching them sleep. . .I miss the noise. . .I miss the chaos. . . HOpefully something better will come along, and we'll be able to save some moneys to get a used car that will maybe make it through till we can get mine paid off. . . On a funnier note. . .my lesson next week is on Halloween, so I am going to be trying to play my violin in my pirate costume. . .should be real fun!! Bethie's Birthday is Sunday. . .her party is tonight, but I can't go. . .:( I hope she has fun!! Well, I think I have complained enough for today. . .hope everyone else out there is having a much better day. . .and I'll write more later.
