Dear Die-ry,
~Well things at work have certainly improved I learned as of Thursday night I will be getting promoted to ADM (Assistant Department Manager)of the Brooklyn Shoes store Department. Its a high raise cuz I skipped over one position in order to be what I am. I completely skipped over the position of a section head. Cheryl the store manager tells me to go to her office and talk to her. I was of course freaked out due to the fact the store manager want's me in her office. She of course said it's ok theres nothing wrong and its nothing bad. It didn't make the walk up the stairs to her office any easier and I was worried I had somehow done something wrong and was racking my mind for a possible what did I do.
~Well going up to her office I sat down and she was smiling and proceeded to tell me that there were many positions currently being opened in Century due to the transition of personel to the new Paramus store. She said she had a position to offer me and it was the position of Shoes ADM , and I said yes. I will be getting medical, bonuses, more vacation time, and of course from my making 14000 more or less a year to making 25000 a year. I am damn happy at that hehe more money and possible more new toys for me to be able to afford. I am happy that finally all my hard work at Century means something more then me just breaking my back seemingly unseen. I have finally made all my hard work worthwhile.
~Yes it will mean more time in the store and more work in a way, however it also means I'll be abke to get my bills paid and move onto other things maybe even night school and finish my degree. It's all just ideas at the moment but ideas are what have kept me going. I am hoping for more out of it but we will need to see where money and ideas reach a happy ground. So for now this is all Ill write more at a later time.
