looking for a sire - Libitinarius

I'm looking at creating a new character in Requiem. I've only gotten the very basics down: He's a forensics person, embraced around the 1900s. I can move up or back, but no more than 20 years either way. (so 1880 - 1920) I am looking at the Libitinarius bloodline.  Are there any bloodline members here that might be willing to take on a childe ( Read more... )

I found that generally if I travelled to any game beyond my local one, the STs absolutely hated my character, purely becuse of the power. It's written confusingly (heck, even most Lib players continue to mispell the 3rd power, it's Alitium, not Autum due to power writting and fonts).

Furthermore, it seems it was widely disliked by the former NST, as the US addendum combined with the new 'feeding' rules distributed through conventions and games completely nerf most of the powers so that no long do anything needful. They fufill their original downtime action purpose but little else you can actually do AT the game. So your left with a bloodline power you can hardly ever use, and when you can it's much less impressive.

I'd recommend keeping the concept, and just not taking the bloodline, or looking for another one. Libitnarius just do not play well in larp. Case in point, their 5th dot power is unusable outside of tabletop (in 3 years i've never bought it because I can't use it.)

... that came out a little more bitter than I intended, but it's all true.
