The sad news of the passing of Terrance Dicks broke two weeks ago, and I posted my own little tribute to him on Twitter:

Thank you. Terrance Dicks did a lot of subtle microengineering of the broadcast script when writing Doctor Who and the Nightmare of Eden, I remember from when I compared and contrasted part of the book and the television serial. I'm not surprised he grimaced!
