Cavalcade: film and theatre script

Cavalcade won the Oscar for Outstanding Production in 1934 (the first year in which a printed publication, in this case Time, referred to the Academy Awards as the Oscars, though apparently Walt Disney was already talking about getting an Oscar in 1931). Of the other nominated films, I recommend The Private Life of Henry VIII, mostly for Charles Laughton, whose boots every Henry VIII since has been trying to film, their way of dealing with Catherine of Aragon, Elsa Lanchester as Anne of Cleves and Robert Donat as Thomas Culpepper.
