Adventures in Moominland

I went this morning with my older godson D (as opposed to my younger godson E), his other half S and their new baby L (the youngest of our grandfather's 24 great-grandchildren) to the Adventures in Moominland experience at the Southbank Centre. I read the Moomin comic strips by Tove Jansson a couple of years ago, and the novels many years ago as a child, and I now want to reread the novels to get a better idea of what I think is an interesting example of how the same world and characters get developed for slightly different audiences. (For instance, the comics have some mild but unambiguous sexual humour that I don't think appears at all in the novels.)

Oh, I love the Moomins. I think I have all the books. We got them for the kids, but naturally fell in love with them ourselves.
