What is the best-known book set on Iceland?

There's no justification (or contradiction) for it in the books or TV as far as I know but in my head Noggin the Nog is an Icelander.

[Since the visuals for Noggin are based on the Lewis chessmen, and these are claimed by some to be Icelandic rather than Norwegian, there's even a bit of a valid basis to this. I did not know that until I just looked it up!]
