Indeed... corsetry (and workers in kebab shops all over Europe) defeats gay pirates (without much support from their neighbours who didn't qualify)

Ach, Greece was about the same level as Russia, really; with a lead singer who looks better in a dress.

we were all yelling that tonight. the passports in the room were ireland, uk, usa, czech, new zealand and pakistan with a large minority holding more than one... explaining eurovision can be fun. particularly explaining that the voting is the really fun bit!

I belive they tried to marginally region handicap this year, by splitting the Balkan/ Russian states between the semis, but most of them got through, so it didn't make much difference.

I can't believe Latvia were mid-table. Yeesh. Do Europe not appreciate pirates the way Brits (and Irish) do?
