pgmcc very kindly sent me the script for this excellent musical comedy, set in 1941 and concerning the adventures of an innocent code-breaker sent to Dublin by British intelligence, who ends up dealing with John Betjeman, Myles na gCopaleen, Erwin Schrödinger, and Ireland's secret weapon. I was lucky enough to get to see the stage version while I was visiting Dublin in 2005. I thought it was fantastic. I have friends who went to see it multiple times.

I saw it and liked it a lot, though in retrospect I wonder if maybe it was not as funny as it thought it was. The best bit was when Schrodinger's mad scientist machine in DIAS was changing the world in improbably ways. Indeed.

I'm delighted you found the play interesting and amusing. It has been so successful I believe it will be doing another tour this year. I'll let you know dates and locations if/when I get them.

You will love the live performance if you get to see it. I would go again, and have already been twice.
